The U14 girls had a great win over Ballymote in the Championship final last Monday under lights in Tourlestrane. After having lost to Ballymote in the League final this was always going to be a tough game however the girls put in the performance of the year in front of great Gaels support to emerge as winners on a scoreline of 0-9 to 0-6. The team was: Aoife Morrisroe, Sheona Leydon, Lisa Callaghan, Chloe McTiernan, Jade Lyons, Keeva McDermott, Rachel Boyd (0-3), Roisin Kearns, Louise Merrick, Mairead Tuohy (0-2), Makayla McLoughlin (0-4). Subs: Sarah Walsh, Erin O'Sullivan, Katy McCann, Jane Benson, Éba McCann, Rachel Healy. Well done to the girls who trainied so hard all year alongside the U12 girls - both teams contested the league and championship finals with the U12's winning the league and the U14 team winning the championship in what has been a great year for Ladies football within the club.

The U13 boys earned themselves a place in the final of the Feile Cup after a hard fought 3-11 to 2-8 win over Eastern Harps. The team was:- Daniel Lyons, Darragh Kelly, Sean Carroll, Evan Lyons, Eoin Dwyer, Patrick Benson, Adrian Benson, James Carroll, Dillion McDermott (0-4), Paul Leydon, Seamus Hailstones (0-3), Shane Deignan (0-1), Dylan Willis (3-3), Killian Walsh, Michael Barry. Subs:Ryan Fitzpatrick, Bryan Johnston, Shane McCann, Ryan Brennan, Brendan Hailstones, Patrick Kenny. They now take on Tubbercurry next Sunday at a venue yet to be confirmed.
