The Gaels U14 team will participate in the National Feile Competition this year and in order to commence preparations for this important trip, there will be a meeting of Parents of U14 players in the Clubhouse this Friday at 8.00PM.

It was all change at the AGM this weekend with Lauri Quinn appointed Chariman, Chris O'Neill appointed Secretary and Enda O'Connell joining Mary Quinn as joint treasurer. Long serving member and former Chairman Seamus Cawley was appointed a Patron of the Club while Vivion Boyd was appointed Vice Chariman. There were many tributes paid to the outgoing Executives - Vincent Henry who stepped down after 6 years as Chairman, Andy Kearns who stepped down after 10 years as Secretary and Eugene Carroll who stepped down as Joint- treasurer - all will continue to be involved on the Committee.

The Club is participating in the GAA National Draw and tickets are available from any Committee member at €10. There are fantastic prizes available including a trip to Australia - all proceeds going to the Club.

The Lotto draw takes place next Saturday in Sean Macs with the jackpot at €3,900.

The Club wish to express sympathy with the family and relatives of Austin Mulhern, Ballinafad and Annie Shannon, Riverstown, who died at the weekend.
