The Dinner Dance takes place next Sunday 16th April in Castle Dargan Hotel at 8PM. Tickets still available from committee members at €25. 

There was no winner of the lotto jackpot this weekend. The numbers drawn were 13, 19, 21, 23 with 2 match 3 winners - Kian Leydon and Karl McKenna. The house draw went to Aoife McDermott. The jackpot now stands at €2,500 with the next draw in in McDermotts, Castlebaldwin on Saturday 22nd April.


The Senior team lost 0-15 to 1-10 to Calry in the first round of the league last Sunday despite a strong comeback in the second half. The team was: Donal Tuohy, Gavin McMorrow, Declan Willis, Eoin O'Connell, Conor Merrick, Ciaran O'Connor, Frank Quinn, David Quinn (0-4), Liam O'Connell, Andy Flynn, Joe Henry, Darragh Hailstones, Daire Kearns, Joe Quinn (0-6), Keith Candon. Subs: Luke Flynn (1-0) for D Kearns, Mark Kearns for A Flynn, Donal Carroll for K Candon. They have a busy Easter, away to St Maloise Gaels at 6.30PM on Good Friday and at home to Coolaney/Mullinabreena on Easter Sunday at 2PM.


The Junior team lost heavily to Eastern Harps in the first round of the League. They now play St Marys at home Easter Monday at 1PM. 

The Girls U16 team lost narrowly to Drumcliffe/Rosses Point last Tuesday in an exciting game at Riverstown. The team was: Meabh McDermott. Elle McDermott, Leah Monaghan, Aine Brennan, Laoise King, Chloe McTiernan, Aoife Murphy, Jade Lyons, Eala McDermott (0-1), Ceili Faughnan, Erin Mullaney (0-1), Amy Healy, Jane Benson (2-2), Makayla McLoughlin (2-3), Isobel Clarke. The Saturday Morning coaching has re-commenced on Saturday mornings from 11AM to 12PM in Coola. The coaching is for boys and girls U6, U8 and U10 - all welcome, especially new members. For further information contact Michelle McMorrow on 0876157455.
