Well done to Sligo Ladies U14 and Minor teams who won the Connacht C Championship at the weekend and to the Gaels players involved, Ellie McDermott, Ruby Clark and Nadine Hargadon on the U14's and Aoife Morrisroe who captained the U18, Lousie Merrick, Meabh McDermott and Roisin Durey. 

The winners of the monthly members draw were Stephen Rooney, Paddy McDermott and Michael Tuohy. 

The Senior team snatched a late 2-9 to 1-9 win over Drumcliffe/Rosses Point in the Kiernan Cup on Saturday with a late Frank Quinn goal. A depleted Junior team lost to Owenmore Gaels last Sunday in the Abbott Cup. The team was: Rickie Johnston, Robbie Johnston, Gavin McMorrow, Niall Whelan, Karl McKenna (0-1), Conor Merrick, Adrian McCann (0-1), Michael Kilkenny (0-3), Mark Kearns, Daire Kearns (0-2), Daniel Lyons (0-2), Donie McDermott, Steven Willis (0-2). The Ladies Senior team take on Owenmore Gaels away next Sunday at 10.00AM. 

The boys minor team had a mixed week with an impressive 5-18 to 1-12 win over Curry, but were narrowly defeated 1-10 t 0-11 on Friday by Enniscrone/Easkey. 

The U16 boys play Castleconnor away on Monday at 7.00PM. The U16 girls had their first win with an impressive 4-14 to 3-8 win over Calry. The team was: Kate Brehony, Kate Brady, Ellie McDermott, Andie Brady, Amy Healy, Isobel Clark (0-1), Ceili Faughnan (1-1), Eala McDermott (2-0), Ana McCann, Jade Lyons (0-8), Grace O'Carroll, Mia O Regan (1-0), Nadine Hargadon (0-4), Amy Willis Subs: Meave Lyons, Jessica Crowley, Emma O'Carroll, Eimear Kelly. They play St Mary's at home on 8th May.   

The U14 girls play Ballisodare away on Tuesday at 7PM, while the U14 boys are away to Tubbercurry on Thursday at 6.30PM.  

The U12 boys play St Pats in Dromard on Tuesday at 7PM while the U12 girls narrowly lost to Owenmore Gaels last Friday. They play Ballisodare away on Thursday at 7PM. 

The U8/10's were in Kent Park on Wednesday last and played very well against the home side. Coaching continues every Saturday morning for U6/8/10 for boys and girls in Coola from 11AM-12PM.
