The monthly club meeting will take place this Friday at 9.00PM in the clubhouse. 

The annual church gate collection will be taken up this weekend. 

There was no winner of the lotto draw last weekend with the numbers drawn 10, 27, 28, 32.  There was also no match 3 winner with the house draw won by Dermot Cogan. The next draw is on Sat 6th Oct in Sean Macs with the jackpot at €4,700. 

Team of the week was the U16 team who captured another title for the Gaels with a 4-11 to 1-16 win over Eastern Harps in the B Shield Final last Wednesday. The team was: Jack Duignan, Aodhan Eivers, Adam Kearns, Aaron McKenna, David Barlow (0-2), Patrick Barrett, Conor Kearns (2-0), Eoin Dwyer (0-1), Conor McMorrow, Jason Kilkenny (0-3), Conor Sheridan, Lee Deignan (1-5), Gareth Keville, Shane Dwyer (1-0), Daniel Murphy, Jay Rogers, Andrew McGrievy, Charlie Millen, Ryan Thompson. Well done to the team and management of Gavin McMorrow, Ciaran O'Connor and Karl McKenna for their work with the team this year. Thanks also to Kathy Burke, Photography and Kearns Centra, Caltragh for their sponsorship of tops for the team. 

The Senior team take on Enniscrone/Kilglass next Sunday 30th in the semi-final of the Intermediate Championship at 1.00PM in Bunninadden. Please come out and support. 

The Ladies Senior team take on Curry in the final of the Junior Championship on Sunday the 21st October - more details later. 

The U14 boys lost the A Championship final to St Marys last Friday. Despite leading at half time, early second half goals from St Marys meant that the Gaels had it all to do and despite a gallant effort in the closing stages they were unable to get the goals that were needed. The final score was 4-5 to 1-5. The team was: Jack Duignan, George Barlow, Conor Sheridan, Oisin Conlon, Ciaran Kenny, Jamie Parke, Niall Kenny, Andrew Barlow, Sam Tuohy, Daniel King, Troy Gilgarro, Dylan McKenna, Conor McMorrow (0-5), Brian Dwyer (1-0), James Foley Subs: Keelan Brehony, Ryan Parke, Jack Tuohy, Aaron Conlon, Nathan Wimsey. Thanks to the team and management of Shane Quigley, Harry King, David Wimsey and Padraig Gilligan for all their hard work during the year.  

The U12 team had a fantastic day out last Sunday playing in Croke Park. Thanks to all of the coaches and parents who travelled with the team on a day that they will never forget.
