It was a disappointing weekend for the Senior team as we were relegated to Division 1 losing 1-10 to 0-10 in the final game away to St Maloise Gaels. The Junior team lost 2-8 to 0-8 to St Michaels in the league last Sunday. The team was: Nigel Hargadon, Diarmuid Jinks, Eoin O’Connell, Daniel Hargadon, Declan Willis, Gavin McMorrow, Paul O’Grady (0-1), Enda Tuohy, Eoin McDermott, Kevin Barry, David Quinn (0-2), Liam Tuohy (0-1), Robert Johnston (0-1), Donal Tuohy, Keith Candon (0-3).  They now play Coolera at home next Sunday at 12.00AM.

The U16 team play St Farnans at home next Monday 1st July in the first round of the Championship.

The Boys U14 team lost 3-2 to 3-12 at home to Tubbercurry last Friday. The team was: Ultan McKenna, Niall Whelan (0-1), Evan Lyons, Sean Carroll, Emmett Dodd, Ben Touhy, Bryan Johnston, James Carroll, Karl McKenna (0-1), Daniel Lyons, Dillon McDermott, Ryan Brennan, Keelan Walsh, Seamus Hailstones (2-0), Michael Barry (1-0). Subs: K Johnston, Paul Costello, Dylan Burke, Niall Higgins.

The U12 boys are away to St Marys in Kent Park on Tuesday 25th at 7pm.

Well done to our U8 and U10’s who hosted Geevagh in a blitz last Wednesday. Thanks to the coaches and parents who helped on the night and to Donal Tuohy, David and Joe Quinn who refereed the games. They now play St Molaise Gaels in Markievicz Park on friday 28th at 6pm. This is a great opportunity for our underage players to play in the County grounds.

Our U14 girls had a fantastic 6-15 to 1-7 win against Geevagh last Saturday. The team was Sheona Leydon, Mairead Tuohy, Katie McCann, Erin O’Sullivan, Jade Lyons, Keeva Mc Dermott (0-2), Rachel Boyd (2-2), Louise Merrick (0-3), Chloe McTiernan (2-5), Makayla McLoughlin (1-3), Rachel Healy subs used Éba Mc Cann (1-0). This win booked a place in the semi-final which was played Sunday away to Curry. In difficult weather conditions we won 5-7 to 2-5. The team was:  Aoife Morrisroe, Katie McCann, Sheona Leydon, Jade Lyons, Erin O’Sullivan, Keeva McDermott, Rachel Boyd (0-3), Louise Merrick, Chloe McTiernan (1-3), Mairead Tuohy (4-0), Makayla Henry (0-1) subs used Éba Mc Cann, Lisa Callaghan and Rachel Healy.  The girls are going for three in a row and play the final on Monday evening against Ballymote at 8pm in Collooney.

There was no winner of the lotto last week – numbers drawn were 17, 23, 25, 31. Match 3 winner was Michelle Gallagher, Riverstown. Jackpot now stands at €2,300.
