Congratulations to Sligo GAA PRO and Club Member, Padraig McKeon who won the GAA Writers, PRO of the year award last weekend. It is a well-deserved honour for Padraig who continues to raise the bar for this position not only at county level but also at club level.

We held the 2022 awards last Saturday with medals presented for the U16 Girls B Championship, U15 Boys C Championship, U14 Girls Shield and U13 Boys A Shield winning teams. The Girls player of the year awards went to Keeva Clancy U10, Casey McLoughlin, U11, Grace Mullen U12, Penny Barlow U14, Leanne Galvin U16 and Sorcha Mullaney U18. The boys winners were Sean McMorrow, U11, Eli Cassidy U13, Miceal Garry U14, Cruz Lyons U15 and Ciaran Kenny U17. The overall player of the year went to Leanne Galvin.
