National Club Draw
As we are all aware, 2020 has been a difficult year for everybody in trying to deal with the effects of Covid 19. The Pandemic has had a major impact on our Association and Club in how we manage our Training and Games programme. I want to thank all our Coaches, Players and Parents for their cooperation in ensuring we were able to have at least a limited season of activity for our Players at all levels.

I also want to thank you for your efforts in the earlier part of the year when our underage Players kept our spirits up with the videos shown across our Social media platforms. The “5k a Day in May” fundraiser in memory of John Lyons was a major success and raised over €28,000 for the NW Hospice.

Club Members were also a vital part of our Community Response Team who assisted the vulnerable members of our area in dealing with the restrictions imposed due to Covid 19.
Covid 19 also has had a major impact on our Club finances. We have been unable to run our Annual Golf Classic, the All Ireland Ticket Draw and our fortnightly Lotto Draw has also ceased since March.

The National Club Draw is our first fund raiser of the year and there are fantastic prizes including the top prize of a Renault Clio. This year, more than ever, it is critically important that the National Club Draw is supported by as many of our members and supporters as possible to provide vital funds for the ongoing running of the club. 100% of all tickets sold go towards the club.

The tickets are €10 each and available from any club member or from Mary Quinn on 086 375 7626
